BIO:
Lara Mari is a painter living in Queens, New York. She studied at UC Berkeley and continued her drawing and painting studies at the Grand Central Atelier and the Art Students League of New York, as well as through private mentorship.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
My work explores form, color, and space through the quiet of the everyday. I look for poetry in moments of intimacy and detachment, and in the uncertainty between them.
